Orhideed/ Orchids

Taas on käes märtsikuu ja sel ajal toimub Tallinna Botaanikaaias traditsiooniline orhideenäitus. Käisin seda nädalavahetusel vaatamas. Milline ilu! Millised erinevad sordid! Mõnda on isegi raske üldse lilleks pidada.

Again, it is March, and at that time held the traditional exhibition of orchids in the Botanical Garden of Tallinn. I went to see it last weekend. What a beauty! What different varieties! Some are even difficult at all to be regarded as a flower.

Ice is going/ Jääminek

Despite the flu and fever of colds I did not stayed at home. I was visiting Haapsalu for the anniversary of the Republic and I went every day with lovely and brave dachshunds walking around and taking pictures. Usually at this time it is the coldest weather. This year, however, with a big spring. The Earth is once again without any snow and sea ice melts. But even this has its own charm, as you can see from the pictures. Except that now I still have fight with the illness ...


Vaatamata korralikule külmetusele koos nohu ja palavikuga ei raatsinud ma toas olla. Olles vabariigi aastapäevaks Haapsallu külla läinud , käisin iga päev koos armsa ja vapra taksikoeraga jalutamas ja pildistamas. Tavaliselt on sel ajal aasta kõige külmem ilm. Sel aastal on aga suur kevad käes. Maa on taas lumeta ja merel jää sulab. Aga ka sellel on oma võlu nagu piltidest näha võib. Ainult et nüüd pean ikka haige olema...

Danny Croucher was born in London, England in december 1976. He is a fine art photographer specialising in portraiture. He lives in London and Berlin. He visited Tallinn 9.02.14 and had woprkshop. I took part of it and it was very inspiring.

Danny Croucher sündis Londonis Inglismaal detsember 1976. Ta on kunsti fotograaf, spetsialiseerunud portreefotole. Ta elab Londonis ja Berliinis. Ta käis Tallinnas 9.02.14 ja tegi woprkshopi. Ma võtsin sellest osa ja see oli väga inspireeriv.

Jägala juga/ Jägala Falls

Möödunud pühapäeval sai Looduse Omnibussi sõidul Lahemaale tehtud lühike peatus ka Jägala joal. Juga on igal aastal isesugune. Sel korral oli vesi väga külmunud ja vaevalt nirises. See võimaldas käia ka joa taga olevas koopas. Proovisin seda ilu jäädvustada ja jagan siin nüüd ka Teiega:

Last Sunday was Nature Omnibus Ride to Lahemaa National Park and we made ​​a brief stop in Jägala waterfall. The waterfall is another of each year. In this case, the water was very frozen and barely a trickle. It's also possible to walk behind the waterfall in the cave. I tried to capture the beauty of it, and here I share with you now:

Lahemaa metsades/ In Lahemaa forests.

Möödunud pühapäeval tegime Looduse Omnibussiga sõidu Lahemaa metsadesse. Kui Tallinnas pole eriti lund näha siis seal oli seda üllatavalt palju. Lisaks oli eelmisel päeval sadanud uut värsket lund juurde. Metsas olid väiksemad puud ilusa puhta ja koheva lumevaibaga kaetud. Tegime umbes kokku 8 km matka. Kogesime, et ilusa talvepildi saamiseks ei peagi Soome Lapimaale sõitma.

Last Sunday we did with Looduse Omnibuss driving in Lahemaa forests. If we do not have much snow in Tallinn to see there was a surprising amount of it.
